Warranty

Warranty and repair
If your product unexpectedly becomes defective, you may be eligible for warranty coverage or a repair. This page provides information regarding warranty and repair. To return products, please submit an online return request by email.

Warranty
We distinguish two types of warranty: the statutory warranty and the additional warranty.

Legal warranty
The legal warranty means you're always entitled to a good product. If a product is defective, you're entitled to free repairs, a new product, or a refund. There's no legal warranty period in the Netherlands. This is because some products simply last longer than others.

You should be able to use a product for a certain period of time without any problems. How long a product should last depends on the type of product and what you can expect from it based on, for example, information provided by us or the manufacturer, the brand, or the price.

You are not entitled to a free repair, a new product or a refund if the product defect is your fault or if you have used the product normally but it is simply worn out.

Extended warranty (factory warranty)
An extended warranty, also known as a manufacturer's warranty, supplements the statutory warranty you already have. Sometimes you receive an extended warranty free of charge, and sometimes it can be purchased. The extended warranty is provided by us or the manufacturer in a (warranty) statement or advertisement that includes the terms and conditions for the extended warranty. If the manufacturer has provided an extended warranty and you wish to invoke it, you can contact the manufacturer directly.

You can find a lot of useful information about guarantees and other matters on the independent websites of the government, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (Consuwijzer) and the European Consumer Centre (ECC) below.

Repair
If the defect is not covered by the warranty, you may still be able to have the product repaired at your own expense. If repairs are at your expense, we will contact you before you return the products to us or the manufacturer, or, if we already have your defective product, before the repair takes place.

Finally
Regarding our warranty, we make no distinction between consumer and business purchases. Products delivered outside the Netherlands are exclusively subject to Dutch warranty regulations.

You can read all the provisions that apply to the warranty in our general terms and conditions.
